Last week a deal was agreed with Greenride, after numerous months of negotiating, to allow Avery Nijholt to move to Portugal. This signalled a change of philosophy from Emerge management, and it was decided that the team would start again fresh, but this time have both climbing and sprinting ambitions.
This meant the old leadout train leaving, with Haynes going back home to Lastplace1414 , and Mozarov departing for Candian outfit HC Alpine. Also leaving was experienced man Modicamore who with retirement coming soon, was allowed to leave and look for 1 more team.
To replace these departures Emerge have brought in Spaniard Estanislao Prieto (FC Brentford), and Englishmen Elijah Hillock (Peloton Pushers). Also coming in was Ariel Koziol (HC Alpine) who will be temporary captain of the new look sprinting team. These will be joined by Adler Hinchee.
On the climbing front Emerge have brought in experienced domestique Eugene Huson (Lastplace1414), to help on the tough climbs and young Czech rider Helmut Vrba (Torreira) to help on the hills. It was also announced a short while ago that they have pulled off a magnificent transfer, in signing Fabrycy Pietrzyk (Team Chilli) who will be the teams climbing captain and captain for tours. These will also be aided by up and coming rider Vincent Newlon (Greenride) whos got great potential as both a climber and a sprinter.
As the Climbing team is still lacking depth it is expected a move will be made for Norman Retzlaft (JJL24SS) in about 2 weeks. To finance this, no doubt riders will need to leave, and its expected Toledo, Ochoa and Oyes will all be leaving. A bigger surprise is that Robben (who was only signed 16 days ago) has been made available. This is due to the change in focus and therefore not being able to finance his training.

Yeah, but on hold atm. Need 150k by day 71 to sign another climber. Deals been agreed. Selling the 2 young Spaniards and Robben (can't afford 2 train him now :( shame as 200+ sprinter)
Nice, fast and stable changes. I see Newlon has already picked up some training, nice. Good luck!
